Visiting Artists

CoCreatie

In 2019, Gent Glas hosted an open call to artists working with glass. The open call had 22 applicants from 11 countries. The jury had a difficult decision with the level of the applicants and after deliberation, awarded two artistic residencies originally scheduled to take place in March 2019, though due to Covid 19 have been rescheduled from January 18 - 30, 2021.

The jury consisting of: Monali Meher - visual and performance artist living and working in Ghent; Dominika Drozdowska - curator and director of SIC! Gallery BWA Galleries of Contemporary Art Wroclaw (PL); and John Moran - visual artist, glass sculptor, and founding member of Gent Glas chose two artists to work together in the studio.

We are incredibly excited to host two incredible artists: Katherine Huskie (UK) and Simone Fezer (DE) in the studio!
